Rheumon Gel helps to treat the pain from blunt traumas such as those caused by sports injurys like contusions, sprains and strains. It also helps to ease the pain associated with acute or chronic rheumatic diseases of soft tissue of the musculo-skeletal system like Muscular Rheumatism Lumbago (lower back pain), Sciatica (intense nerve pain by compression of the sciatic nerve), Tenosynovitis (inflammation of the membrane sheath around certain tendons) and Bursitis (inflammation of a bursae - a small fluid filled sac that reduces friction around the joints).
In a clinical trial it has been shown that when using Rheumon Gel in combination with normal oral anti-rheumatic medication, it is possible to reduce the oral medication by:
- 60% in soft tissue conditions
- 50% in degenerative conditions
- 40% in inflammatory rheumatic diseases
- the rate of side effects was significantly reduced and the symptoms were improved
Rheumon Gel Instructions: Apply a 5cm - 10cm strip of gel 3 - 4 times a day and massage into the skin over as large an area as possible. Treatment period can be between a few days and several months.
Rheumon Gel Presentation: One box contains a 50g tube, each 1g of the gel contains 50mg of Etofenamate (active ingredient).
